Six birders participated in the Bird the VIC Walk on 6 June 2015. We birded portions of the Barnum Brook Trail, where we had some excellent views of a Hairy Woodpecker from the bridge across Barnum Brook. After passing the fish barrier dam, we took a left and cut through to the Logger's Loop Trail, where we had some good views of a Black-throated Blue Warbler and a Red-eyed Vireo. We also got some nice views of an Olive-sided Flycatcher in the wetland area where Barnum Brook intersects with the trail. We then followed the Boreal Life Trail, taking a left at the bench to acess the boardwalk across Barnum Bog, before returning to the VIC.
