Sunday afternoons are for music and fun in the outdoors at the VIC!

Steve Langdon at Hobofest 2012 in Saranac Lake, New YorkThe Sunday Ski and Music Series continues Sunday, 1 March, featuring blues guitarist and singer Steve Langdon in the Great Room at the VIC from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.

Steve Langdon's music draws from 1920s and 1930s Delta and Piedmont blues, mixing in influences from modern rhythm and blues and bluegrass. Originally from Elizabethtown, he toured Germany in the 1990s as guitarist for the Professor Washboard Band. He now lives in Saranac Lake, where he has performed extensively, including performances at Dewey Mountain ski jams, First Night Saranac Lake, and the annual Hobofest celebration. He is currently Project Manager at Shingle Shanty Preserve and Research Station.

Explore the Trails

The VIC trails are free and open to the public, from dawn to dusk, spring through fall. In winter, the trails are open to cross-country skiers and snowshoers for a fee. Day or season passes may be purchased.
